Andrea studied illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art and graduated in May, 2008. She loves hand-drawn type and beautiful, smart design, whether it's super simple or loud and bold. Her current favorite things include: painting with gouache, 50s design and cartooning, vintage enamelware, Korean food, metal music, and old school Kung Fu movies.
While exhibiting in various gallery shows around Baltimore, Andrea is working on furthering her freelance career and enjoying life. Her work was on display on a street lamp banner as part of the 2008 Baltimore Urban Forest Project, and a piece of hers was also featured in CMYK's summer issue #41. Look for her addition to Image Comic's graphic novel anthology POPGUN, entitled "The Jewel of Kurvi Tasch" coming out soon.
